VPI+ Insulation System

At the heart of our rewind process is a new technologically advanced wire developed by Phelps Dodge.
Thermaleze Q has a peak-to-peak rating of 2000 volts---this means that motors wound with Thermaleze Q wire
will withstand the rigors of operating on AC Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). They will essentially become
"inverter duty" motors.

To compliment the use of the 2000 volt wire, Hupp electric Motors uses the highest dielectric strength,
class H insulating materials, and Vacuum Pressure Impregnates (VPI) each rewind with a solventless
polyester resin. Motors operating on traditional sine wave voltages will experience a dramatic increase in longevity.

Hupp Electric Motors does all of this as a standard procedure at no extra cost to our customers.
We also provide a three-year warranty on every rewind, making every rebuilt motor as
good or better than a new motor.

Hupp Elelctric Motors is the first motor shop to standardize on the Thermaleze Q wire
and VPI. Our Inverter Grade VPI+ Insultation System proves once again that we are committed
to providing the best quality possible.
